How to get a good network on your MTN Ghana sim

A Good network depends on the some of these factors.

1. The first one is about the phone. The phone network ability cannot be overlooked.

2. How old is your sim?

Old simcards are often 3G graded as a result this kind of sims tend to slow down the network speed.

How do I increase my network speed by setting a good APN (Access Point Name) configuration.

1. Go to settings on your phone

2. Tap on Network and internet and you locate mobile network depending on the type of phone. Some phones may have different steps so watch out.

3. Locate preferred Network type and set it to 3G/4G or 4G.


4. Now, go to the APN.

5. Locate a plus at the top right corner and tap on it to add a new APN.

6. Enter MTN GH into the name tab and also browse into the APN tab.

Note that MTN GH must be in capital letters.

7. Now save the APN and tick it.

8. Turn on the data.

If the problem persists, use turn on and off the airplane mode to restart the cellular connection.
